Austria Offers Educational Scholarship for Pakistani Student

Austrian leading universities have decided to provide subsidized education and scholarship opportunities for students only from the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule

Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) Haripur. This will generate massive opportunities for Pakistani students in higher education and advanced technology.

Unprecedented Fee Reduction by Austrian Universities

Two of Austria’s most prestigious universities have collaborated with PAF-IAST for education to be as accessible as possible to students here.

FH JOANNEUM – University of Applied Sciences has slashed the tuition fee of its out-of-EU student rate for PAF-IAST students at a whopping EUR 80 from EUR 9,000 regularly.

Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) has taken it a step further by providing free tuition for PAF-IAST students, thus availing quality education without a financial burden.

Scholarships to Support Living Costs

In addition to tuition subsidies, International Cooperation Higher Education Austria (OEAD) announced scholarships for PAF-IAST students. This will give them up to EUR 1,180 a month to support living expenses while studying in Austria, thus making the program more accessible and financially sustainable.

Collaborative Efforts Cement the Partnership

The announcement was made during a recent visit by a PAF-IAST delegation to Austria, led by Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, Vice Chair of the PAF-IAST Board of Governors. This collaboration will help cement Austria’s commitment to international academic ties and further Pakistan’s educational development.

PAF-IAST: A Vision for Pakistan’s Technological Future

Established in September 2020 in Haripur’s picturesque Mang area and inaugurated by former Prime Minister Imran Khan, PAF-IAST was conceived to change Pakistan’s industrial and technological geography.

The institute’s agenda is to spearhead development in a strong industrial economy through quality education in science, engineering, and technology.

PAF-IAST offers specialized programs in artificial intelligence (AI), Engineering, Food Technology, along with other hi-tech disciplines of study. These programs aim at producing skilled professionals to serve Pakistan’s hi-tech industry and innovation ecosystem effectively.

A Gateway to Academic Excellence

This is one milestone in Pakistan-Austria cooperation in education, offering an opportunity for Pakistani students to enjoy international exposure, advanced learning, and experience on a global scale.

This enables PAF-IAST students to look forward to brighter academic and professional prospects as well as the improvement in bilateral relations between the two countries.
